What makes Vine & Branch Art Retreats unique?

Our retreats are about so much more than watercolor. They're an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with your creativity, and spend time with an encouraging community of women in beautiful places. We believe some of life's sweetest memories are made around a painting table, over shared meals, and during unhurried conversations.

Creative Retreat

Seaside, Fl - September 24-27, 2026

Over a few beautifully intentional days, you’ll find yourself settling into a rhythm that feels both inspiring and easy:

– Watercolor sessions that guide you step-by-step, while still leaving room for your own style to unfold (all levels welcome.)

– Optional painting out and about, capturing the charm of your surroundings (weather permitting… we like sunshine, but we’re flexible)

– Creative projects that feel fresh, fun, and just the right amount of challenging

– Thoughtful prompts that gently spark reflection—nothing heavy, just meaningful

– Special moments and gatherings that tend to become the stories everyone talks about later

– Plenty of open time for coffee runs, slow mornings, a good book, or wandering wherever the day leads you

It’s thoughtfully planned so you feel taken care of…
but relaxed enough that you can truly exhale.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is lodging included?

No. Your retreat fee covers all watercolor instruction, art supplies, curated experiences, and special retreat activities. We've partnered with charming boutique hotels along 30A to offer discounted rates for our guests, and you'll receive all of those details after you register.

Can I share a hotel room?

Absolutely! Your accommodations are completely up to you. Many of our guests choose to share a room with another retreat attendee to help keep costs affordable, and we're happy to help connect you with a roommate if you'd like.

How many women attend each retreat?

We intentionally keep our retreats small, with just 10–12 guests. This allows for personalized watercolor instruction, meaningful conversations, and the opportunity to truly get to know one another. Our hope is that you'll leave not only with a sketchbook full of memories, but with new friendships as well.

Do I need watercolor experience?

Not at all! Our retreats are designed for all skill levels—from complete beginners to experienced artists. You'll receive step-by-step instruction and plenty of encouragement along the way.

What art supplies do I need to bring?

We'll send you a recommended supply list before the retreat, including watercolor paints, brushes, paper, sketchbooks, and other favorite materials. You're welcome to bring your own supplies, but there's no pressure to purchase everything on the list—come with what you have, and we'll help you make the most of it.

What airport should I fly into?

We'll send detailed travel information, including recommended airports, transportation options, and lodging suggestions after you reserve your spot.

What is your cancellation policy?

Because we reserve accommodations, instructors, and supplies well in advance, retreat payments are non-refundable. If you're unable to attend, we'll do our best to help transfer your registration to a future retreat if possible.

Will there be free time?

Yes! We believe the best retreats include a balance of creativity and rest. You'll have time to explore 30A, enjoy the beach, shop, relax, or simply curl up with a sketchbook and a cup of coffee.

Are Meals Provided?

Yes! Each morning we'll provide a light continental breakfast with coffee and tea. Most Vine & Branch retreats also include several group lunches and dinners, though meals may vary depending on the location and itinerary. You'll receive a complete schedule of included meals and recommendations for local favorites after you register.
