I’m so glad you found your way here. Ready for some fun?

I’m Sherri—a watercolor painter, writer, creative entrepreneur, and lifelong collector of ideas.

Some people collect antiques or recipes. I seem to collect inspiration.

Flowers I want to paint. Charming buildings I notice from the car. Beautiful old doors. Stacks of books. A funny little mouse who somehow ended up with a job at the post office. Stories waiting to be told. And all those ordinary details of life that become rather wonderful when we slow down long enough to notice them.

Watercolor is at the heart of Vine & Branch Art.

I love the looseness of it. The happy accidents. The way a little water and pigment can turn into a flower, a house, a memory, or a place you once loved. I paint the things that catch my eye—beautiful places, flowers, homes, quiet moments, charming towns, and the little details most of us hurry past.

I also love encouraging other people to paint. You’ll find simple projects, tracing pages, inspiration, and plenty of reminders around here that you do not have to be a “real artist” to make something beautiful.

And then there is Honeysuckle Lane.

Honeysuckle Lane began with a very simple idea: Wouldn’t it be lovely to have something wonderful waiting for you in the mailbox?

Not a bill. Not an advertisement.

Something actually meant for you.

So I began creating a tiny watercolor world filled with letters, stories, neighbors, houses, seasons, recipes, little paper treasures—and Lucy, our rather observant post-office mouse who seems to know nearly everything happening on the Lane.

Each month, members of Honeysuckle Lane receive a real envelope in the mail with original art, a new piece of the story, and a few surprises tucked inside.

I think of it as a story told slowly, one beautiful envelope at a time.

Maybe that is what I love most about creating: taking something ordinary—a mailbox, a paintbrush, a flower growing beside the sidewalk—and giving it just a little more wonder.

There are other things growing here, too.

From time to time, I host small creative retreats and gatherings, usually around a table with paintbrushes, good food, conversation, and women who may arrive as strangers but rarely leave that way. I keep them intentionally small because I want them to feel less like an event and more like being invited somewhere you can exhale, create, laugh, and stay awhile.

You may also stumble across some of my writing, an unexpected Bible study character or two, travel inspiration, and whatever else has captured my imagination that week. I’ve never been particularly good at staying in one creative lane—which, I’ve decided, is perfectly fine.

I’m a Southern girl at heart, and I still believe most things are better with good food, meaningful conversation, handwritten notes, fresh flowers, and people who make you feel instantly at home.

And perhaps that is really what Vine & Branch Art is becoming.

A place to paint.

A place to notice.

A place to tell stories.

A place to send a little goodness out into the world.

So whether you came looking for watercolor inspiration, wandered over to see what in the world Honeysuckle Lane is, are dreaming about joining me for a retreat, or simply happened upon this little corner of the internet—
