Hello, I'm Sherri!

I'm an artist, storyteller, wife, mom, Gigi, and lifelong collector of good ideas. I love beautiful things, ordinary moments, old houses, handwritten letters, and the kind of adventures that usually begin with, "I have an idea!"

I've never believed life has to be just one thing. There's room for faith and fun, tradition and a little mischief, beautiful art and paint-covered sneakers. I love a well-set table as much as a picnic, a quiet morning with my Bible as much as a plane ticket to somewhere new.

Vine and Branch Art is where all those pieces of my life come together.

Here you'll find my watercolor paintings, the handwritten happiness of Honeysuckle Lane, and a place to explore faith through Bible study and everyday encouragement.

Some things I create simply because they're beautiful. Others because they tell a story, preserve a memory, or remind someone they're loved.

And sometimes, just because they make me smile.

Rooted in Faith

My faith is the foundation of everything I do.

The name Vine and Branch comes from John 15:5, where Jesus reminds us that He is the vine and we are the branches.

I love the beautiful simplicity of that picture. We are created to stay connected to Him, to grow, and to bear fruit in the places where He has planted us.

Alongside my artwork and Honeysuckle Lane, you'll find Bible study resources and encouragement for growing in your faith.

My hope is to create a welcoming place where we can open Scripture together, ask questions, discover truth, and learn to recognize God's presence in our everyday lives.

You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to grow.

A Few More Things About Me

I'm a Texas girl who loves Jesus, my family, a good adventure, and a fresh page in my watercolor sketchbook.

I'm happiest when I'm learning something new, dreaming up my next creative project, traveling somewhere beautiful, or gathering people around a table.

I believe there's always room for another friend, another story, another adventure, and probably another cup of coffee.

Being a Gigi has made life even sweeter, and I find myself wanting to create things that will be treasured long after I'm gone.

A Little About My Art

My watercolor paintings are inspired by the places, people, and little moments that make life wonderful.

I love charming homes, colorful flowers, whimsical characters, beautiful architecture, and ordinary scenes that deserve to be remembered.

My style is cheerful, colorful, and a little nostalgic. I especially love creating artwork that feels personal — the kind that makes you think of your grandmother's house, a favorite vacation, or a childhood story you haven't thought about in years.

Whether it's a custom house portrait, a sweet woodland character, or a painting inspired by my travels, my hope is that each piece brings a little beauty and happiness into your home.

Honeysuckle Lane began with a simple thought:

What if opening the mailbox could be something to look forward to again?

In a world of overflowing inboxes, busy schedules, and more technology than we know what to do with, I wanted to create something wonderfully old-fashioned.

Real letters. Beautiful paper. Original watercolor artwork. A little encouragement tucked inside an envelope.

And so, Honeysuckle Lane was born.

Each month, subscribers receive a little piece of happy mail featuring a letter from Eleanor, original artwork, and thoughtful surprises inspired by the seasons and the simple joys of everyday life.

You might meet Lucy, our little post office mouse, discover a new recipe, find a favorite Scripture, or simply be reminded that there is still so much goodness in the world.

It's a small thing, really.

But sometimes the smallest things make the biggest difference.
